A flu shot hospitalized me for almost two weeks, haven't had a shot or the flu since then.

Glad you are ok!

My daughter told me I had to get one if I wanted to hold her 1st baby when he was born, so I did. She didn't make the same demand for the 2nd baby. I've only had that one in my life and I'm nearing 70.
-
That's just not rational but I don't blame her; govt and pharma promote a lot of misinformation to sell vaccines.

She was young and believed the fears being dealt her way by doctors. She figured it out soon enough.

Theyre not ineffective in elderly. Elderly *shd* get vax. Smart to push in younger pop bc statistically have stronger immune response. Less effective in ppl w relatively weaker response inc elderly *statistically* & such ppl are more at risk for disease if exposed w worse course.
-
Nope they're ineffective in the elderly, according to the lead govt scientists who did what they aimed to be the definitive study. And then when the results came out, the govt wouldn't let them do interviews about it.
-
OK I’ll read that when my brain resets in the am. I guess “it depends”. I had to fight to get flu vaccine for my little kids - now it’s a must. They used to say you only get shingles once too!!
