COINTELPRO is the most egregious organized, documented violation of the US Constitution against US citizens that I know of.
-
Actually, Obama's
#SpyGate is all that and more. It's okay that we disagree. Nobody is locking us up for exercising our freedom of speech - Since Hillary did not get elected.

I will review the information that you've included here. I have heard horror stories about the VA and it was my most important portfolio while I was in Congress. What has your Member of Congress done to help or try to help you?

Congressman Hurd can do more than that, but you have to to to his office with a specific request. So, decide what is most important for your health and ask Congressman Hurd to help you get it. He sounds like a responsive representative and I'm always happy to hear that.

One of the worst things President Obama did was to undo the ban on intel agencies directly propagandizing the American people. The state of the media today is the result. Spy chiefs moving from the administration right into media outlets and spewing pure propaganda.
-
Sorry; if you had read the COINTELPRO Papers, you would know that the CIA owned journalists, publishing houses, media outlets or owned employees at them. These circumstances cannot be placed at Obama's door; but rather at the people who allowed this to become rife w/o oversight..
-
It made a comeback nonetheless. These intel agencies need to be brought to heel.

Old CIO basically for domestic purposes. Do they still exist today?
-
I suspect that what happened to Julian was classic COINTELPRO. "Honey bait" always seems to work. Heck, the FBI had men dedicated full time just figuring out tricks to pull to break up Black Panther Party member marriages. Someone should investigate
@wikileaks facts more closely.

What's going on now dwarfs COINTELPRO.
-
To write that indicates to me that you haven't read the documents; I have read thousands of those pages. I know what's in them and it stinks to high heaven. The gentleman knows not very much of what he speaks.

With what’s going on today you have to wonder if COINTELPRO,which supposedly ended in1979,wasn’t reborn sometime in the 90s
-
It never ended; so we have the US "intelligence" agencies now totally out of control. Congress is supposed to provide oversight, which is what I tried to do when I was there, but instead got called "loony" and "kooky." We need another Mike Gravel, Frank Church or me up there!
-
I’ll say one thing about the past 18 months.A fairly large segment of the population has become more aware of what’s happening in politics and they are speaking out
