A thoughtful article from @NoLore, who's dealt with far more than her fair share of male rage. I fear her experience is only an amplified version of what many women face on the internet every single day.https://www.nationalobserver.com/2018/04/26/opinion/nora-loreto-i-know-male-rage-really-well …
I guess because the article revolves around Alek Minassian and his apparent links with the incel movement. You the know the guy who plowed down people because he hated women.

Both women and men are horrible to other people on-line, but it's interesting breaking down the statistics.
-
Men are more likely to face harassment (44%) than women (37%). But young women (18-24) are more likely to be stalked (26% vs 7%), sexually harassed (25% vs 13%), face sustained harassment and just slightly less to be physically threatened, embarrassed and name called.
-
Ah yes lets make it a competition, not divisive at all. Also I have seen studies stating that more men are victim of domestic abuse than women, they just don’t report because of stigma
-
For example, see this article:http://www.thejournal.ie/mens-domestic-abuse-ireland-3734811-Dec2017/ …
-
How about we stop the male-bashing and divisiveness and treat ppl like individuals. Might help bring down the huge male suicide rates if ppl were nicer
-
Breaking down the reason for the higher male suicide rate... 1. Men pick more lethal methods 2. Higher propensity for impulsive behaviour 3. Less likely to seek help (men may use denial of depression to demonstrate their masculinity and avoid being seen as inferior)
-
By the way, you neglect to mention the heightened pressure and stress on men due to societal expectations and I would argue the insidious misandry in today's society

So because of a single incident involved ONE man, we can make derogatory and sexist generalisations about “males”?
-
dude did you fail to notice it was mostly women he killed?
-
You don't seem to understand my point. ONE psychotic misogynistic man does not change the fact the vast majority of men are decent human beings
-
As noted by Nora Loreto noted in the article. The majority of men she knows in real life are good people. Most men I know are too. But could we say that there might be a problem with some members of the incels -- specifically those that admire Elliot Rodgers?
-
One look at her twitter shows that she focusses almost exclusively on the tiny fringe minority of these weirdos. Hardly ever acknowledges that they are the exception, puts all effort into anti-male divisiveness
-
Didn't seem anti male to me. She seems to like the men around her. How many instances of women driving cars into crowds of men have you noticed, despite all the anti male feelings you claim to notice?
-
this is just one of many many cases, which are not highlighted as they don't conveniently fit the mainstream feminist, male-bashing narrative.
-
There is no male-bashing narrative. There are a lot of people concerned about why some angry males kill their partners, not to mention members of the community.

Whereas if it was a woman, and someone generalised to talk about “female rage” you can be sure that cries of misogyny would abound. Such hypocrisy.
