    The neighborhood kids left a stick pile and wrote in sidewalk chalk, “For dogs, grab a stick here. Please take one.” and it’s maybe the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen 😭

    St Patrick was ripped from his home as a teenager. After six years as a slave in the west of Ireland, he trekked the breadth of the island to get home to Britain. He would become the patron saint of Ireland, yet at the end of his life, he felt he had failed.

    The pigment, emerald green, was developed in 1814. The brilliance and depth of colour was like no other. It was massively popular, especially for paints and wallpaper. But there was one small problem: this green was made using arsenic, and so, was extremely poisonous.
