This is pitiful on so many levels. They put up flyers all over commercial districts over the past week and got, what... 12 people? Not wearing masks either.

Weather wasn’t right and most people felt uncomfortable protesting at the Mayor’s house. People are still riled up, but focused on longer term goals, which is voting people out of office.
@LondonBreed@chesaboudin@sfbos had the wrong priorities this year and we won’t forget!

I’d also argue that getting a restaurant worker who has been unemployed since March and a small business owner of 8 years who has lost 70% of her revenue time in front of 5 TV cameras (& 5 evening news broadcasts) to tell their story is anything but pitiful.

This is only helpful if you have a plausible plan to change policy. Did you reach out to any of the small biz orgs & associations and learn what they are doing, or try to work with them? Or did you just decide to speak on their behalf without even talking to them?

Absolutely! The conversation started back in June. We have small businesses, large companies, people planning to run for office, merchant associations, fed up citizens and more joining the movement. Feel free to the join the next SF Small Buiness Alliance meeting.

Hi - I talk to Rory regularly (including yesterday). The SF Small Biz Alliance declined to participate in this protest for all the reasons I outlined. I'm happy to spend some time with you sharing what's being done, and where we are at.
