@SelenaGYouRock what's the name of the course?
@SharkWipf LPIC-1 Linux Professional Institute Certificate
@SelenaGYouRock thought so, LPIC is one of the most well known certs and I'd say it's a worthy investment, however it's also very rusty
@SelenaGYouRock While "the Linux way" is "There's always more than 1 way to do it", the LPIC way is "You use our way, get rekt"
@SharkWipf so I should forget LPIC and go for RHCE instead?
@SelenaGYouRock both are good, LPIC is slightly more well known, I don't know much about RHCE
@SelenaGYouRock if you can get over the LPIC "do it our way" shit then that's great, go for LPIC, if not, I don't know how RHCE does it
@SharkWipf I don't really mind lol I just want a certificate to prove to implores that I know my way around a Linux CLI
@SelenaGYouRock I believe Linux Foundation has a course too
@SharkWipf really? I had no idea. and yeah, I know LPIC comes in parts bit it seems simple enough
@SelenaGYouRock one of my most Linux-skilled ex-coworkers failed it I think 3 times because he knew everything but didn't do it their way
