This basically aligns with my take. Kamala made similar mistakes, trying to be everything to everyone. I was “voting Bernie unless someone changes my mind,” I was rooting for her too before she waffled. There is no room for a gentility contest while fighting fascism and cruelty.

Color me skeptical that the fighter side of her personality failed to come across. Meanwhile her personal warmth definitely expanded her appeal beyond those who might have aligned with her ideologically. Sometimes well run campaigns just dont win and it's not anyone's fault.
