Warren's surplus Senate money gave her two critical advantages: 1) She could invest early in field (w/o fear of bankrupting her bid) 2) It was a backstop for her decision to forgo fundraisers in the primary Those are two defining features of her run.https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/09/us/politics/elizabeth-warren-2020.html …

Warren did fundraisers up until two weeks before her all-but-assured 2018 reelect, banking money as she declined to air TV ads. Donors in MA were offered to go to a Senate debate watch — and then have Warren visit afterward.https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/09/us/politics/elizabeth-warren-2020.html …

Some of Warren's 2018 event hosts are now hosting events for her rivals, including Ed Rendell who wasn't too pleased with her 2020 rhetoric. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/09/us/politics/elizabeth-warren-2020.html …pic.twitter.com/EDQsPYX8xq

Continuation of status quo is very important to neolibs. It allows them to stay in their comfort zone inside a bubble.

The only ethical thing to do is to throw away all her money for the chance for you to pillory her for the next nitpick you have instead of this

It would be one thing if she was Hillary though, she's definitely marketing herself as being a grassroots populist and if she's going to make big claims about where her money comes from, maybe it's important to examine those claims?
