I like to focus less on “what they don’t teach” and more on “how they condition you”. Eg you’re conditioned to... - think of yourself as an atomized competitor - compete with your peers - socialise primarily with your age group - expect routine, structure - expect steady results

- care about what everyone else cares about - avoid being too weird - be wary of failure - assume that success is determined by performance on legible tests - assume that things are “0 to 100” (you can’t score 10,000 on a test)

-Thoughts think themselves, but your awareness and subsequent ability to choose how to engage them is a skill you can develop. -It's OK to be sad sometimes, even very sad. -Mind-body is an integrated system. -Stress + rest = growth. -Self-awareness beats "balance." -Nature knows.

Also, and a bit less conceptual and probably more accessible: -Nutrition -Movement You could argue biggest threat to financial and human wellbeing is poor health. It boggles my mind that we don't teach basic health/lifestyle principles with same focus as we do math and science.
