It makes me wonder about some of the other weird decisions in his work. How much was petty, controlling stuff written in because someone crossed him. How many of his creative decisions were made in order to groom or punish.

And the worst is: how many of his victims had their own creative careers stifled thanks to him, directly or indirectly, because of abuse? How many opportunities did he suck up that some other, non-abusive creator could have had? So much wasted opportunity, so many affected lives.

Yes! Angel season 4 never made sense to me at all.

It honestly ruined the show. So much was building up. And then it was like a bomb exploded in the middle of the arc. It never fully recovered, IMO.
