@AfghanistanIHRC made this call in May, following the horrendous attack on school girls. International and national human rights organizations have echoed & supported the call. Afg gov has asked for special session & FFM. @mbachelet has asked international mechanisms to act.
Let's try to save civilian lives. Let us not be paralyzed by uncertainty. Let's continue to push for civilian protection, atrocity prevention, peace talks, ceasefire. Afghans deserve this support. Member States, sponsper the call for the Special Session and FFM. Stand with us.
