My aunts & mom are teachers, they were educated in pre-Taliban & Mujahidin area, their schools were also burnt down & closed by Mujahideen fighters at one point, now they have to watch the space closing again for themselves & a younger generation of girls.

I remember a group of Turkmen girls, the first generation of women in their families & communities, asking my aunt to either take them in to live with her in town, or 2 convince Taliban 2 allow them 2 study. Our aspirations, dreams & rights as Afg women are under constant attack
