My question was not about calling for a UN investigation. It was asking AIHRC if they will do their own also.
I don’t know if figuring out the truth about allegations of torture, clarifying claims about civilian casualties, interviewing victims of sexual abuse, & then following up cases with authorities counts as “investigation”, etc butif you follow our work, you know we do all this.
As we are a national institution, most of our work is in local languages. Maybe that is why I am failing to grasp what you mean by “investigation” or failing to communicate to you what the mandate of a national human rights institution is versus AGO others
You and your whole circle is being dishonest. From Patricia's evasion to your gaslighting: no one disputes the PROCESS of investigation. We are asking about the written form. You are supposed to be accountable to the Afghan public. That means sharing findings.
