      Just heard @ShaharzadAkbar, who I know from my Kabul days, on @NPR talking about women's rights in Afghanistan in the wake of the devastating girls school bombing. I often feel pessimistic about Afghanistan, but Shaharzad and her dedication to her country gives me hope.
