Media give voice to all segments in society. Victims of war, the poor, rural communities, women & youth have utilized media to share their stories & opinions. Media exposes the corrupt & sheds lights on atrocities & injustice. Independence of media should be respected & protected
Being a human is dangerous, not only being a journalist.
To be honest, now I don't see any difference in the level of danger of the people in Afghanistan belonging to different sects of life like journalism, government employee, etc. All are equally under threat.
