For years now, in capitals outside Afg, I heard about “international fatigue” re Afg. No one is more exhausted than ordinary Afg. Living & dying by arbitrary deadlines, experiencing all forms of violence, depending on aid for our existence.
To overcome this exhaustion & find some relief, we Afghans have to work much harder & longer. We have to strive to end the war & overcome divides & wounds, we have to learn to live together in mutual acceptance & dignity, we have to show that we don’t descend to chaos on our own.
I admire your courage and determination. I wish you and the Afghan people the best in this difficult struggle
May peace and justice be the reward after all these hard years 
And Unity is 100% needed for our high political leaders in such a fragile and sensitive satiation of Afghanistan!

Here is a question that rarely gets discussed: is there more to the psychology of war than the eye meets? What if the ongoing war is a consequence of attitudes and cultural norms & values? Afg collective conscious may s well play a major role..
Great analysis @ShaharzadAkbar and I hope that the political elite listen to you and learn the lesson from the past. The destructive and elimination attitude of the ones in power will not do us any good. We are all facing a common threat and it requires collective action.
Dear S. Akbar, Coming on your call for preparations and working hard. Who is we? Who are elites? Do we have any meaningful coalition of ordinary Afghans or elites which cut across their ethnicity and regional affinity and affiliation? Finally wt f TB dnt make peace at all ?
