Someone should tell Taliban that there are no winners in this war but ordinary Afghans r the ones who lost the most. Millions of Afghan lives, livelihoods, dreams, aspirations were lost. Poverty, disability, deprivation, forced displacement grew. Confidence in Af’s future shrankhttps://twitter.com/SuhrabSirat/status/1382610397832867840 …

Local sources told us the Taliban removed art and citizenship classes from the curriculum, replacing them with Islamic subjects, but otherwise follow the national syllabus. ⁦@SecKermani⁩ ⁦@Mahfouzzubaide1⁩ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-56747158 …

Graveyards expanded & villages went empty. Those who could, left the country & more want to leave. Yes, it was also because of corruption & incompetent political leadership & disunity, but conflict was a major factor. We lost a historic opportunity to truly build self reliance

So if this is what winning looks like: destroying your country & its future, ruling over graveyards, expanding your ruling by fear, deepening the wounds, yes, Taliban may be close to “winning”, but Afghanistan & its people will keep losing in absence of real investment in peace.

As an Afghan you also have this responsibilty to tell Taliban all these things.....it's not just up to government to put all the evidence in front of them . 😏

The Americans invaded Afghanistan. The Americans bombardeded Afghanistan with B52s and all kinds of weapons. They dropped the mother of all bombs in Afghanistan.

i dont think you have been listening, there are winners. Its the Taliban, the pretenders and looters have lost. The real question is what have you been doing? How have the investigation on the massacre in Khogyani been going on? its been a while.

Blaming “war” for incompetency & corruption of d Afghan leaders is a wrong clausal. At least since 2002 Bonn confr, Afghan leaders had all opportunity to start a new beginning. But they didn’t, coming from Bonn until today, they continued their internal war for a power struggle.
