Fatima was driven, bold, committed. She signified hope & courage. Jawed was kind, courteous & loyal. They came from different parts of Af & had different life journeys. We said our sorrowful goodbyes to them today after they lost their lives to IED. I held Jawid's 4 year old daughter, I looked Fatima's parents in the eye & sat with them in their grief. I had run out of words, out of breath. Overwhelmed by shock, anger, grief & worry.
The attack on Fatima & Jawed was the latest in a series of horrific targeted assassinations. We don't know who was behind this murder & why. Fatima & Jawed's families & families of all victims have a right 2 truth & justice & government must investigate & end culture of impunity
We in @AfghanistanIHRC are grateful 2 incredible support & solidarity. We know we face many risks in our struggle for human rights but we also know we are not facing them alone. We will continue to work for a peaceful future & human rights 4 all Afghans, as Fatima & Jawed dreamed

Their goal is to impede peace and show the world that the Afghansiatan is unstable and American soldiers must not leave this country. They find their interests in war. In Afghanisatan investigation of crimes does not exist, those who investigate, it is they who commit crimes.
