      1) Afg negotiation team is formed. Victims of war & civil society r excluded. Victims of war make an important constituency. They have borne the brunt of war & have suffered for years. Negotiating peace will remain deeply flawed without participation of victims. @ShaharzadAkbar

We should all collectively keep advocating for victims inclusion in various aspects of process. So far, the rights of victims has been missing from the conversation. @AfghanistanIHRC raised this regarding the prisoner exchange & we will continue to advocate for victims’ rights

Victims rights will be better promoted & protected if they are treated as actors themselves, than mere subjects & issues for human rights organisations & conflict actors. They deserve more than any other groups 2 be part of the negotiation team & part of overall peace process 1)

AIHRC and civil society should advocate for their participation right now before it is too late and support their demands. 2).

An age-old war has hit every Afghan. Every Afghan is one or the way a victim of the war. The question raises, who do you Deem fit genuinely to represent all victims across the country? Is it manageable to include victims of war in the team? Don't you think it's an inclusive team?
