The news about possibility of
@AUAfghanistan shutdown is heartbreaking, not because it will shatter the dreams of so many young Afgs, but also because it will signal indifference or despair. There r many private universities in Af but@AUAfghanistan draws some of the best talentShow this thread
@AUAfghanistan must become sustainable & a stronger institution. It is already on that path with hiring more Afghan faculty & improving quality of teaching, as well as internal reforms. It should be supported in dis transition because investing on education is investing on peace.

Absolutely, our Spring 2020 new faculty intakes are 4 Afghan full timers out of 6. We are hiring more and more qualified Afghan faculty. We are not only educating the future leaders of Afghanistan, but also contributing to the development of new generation of incredible academics
