Main topics: steps to eliminate torture, increased insecurity that makes access and monitoring difficult in districts, limited access to legal aid, lack of proper physical infrastructure for prisons, places of detention & justice institutions
Key demand from all officials & @AfghanistanIHRC team: improved facilities & services for prisoners & detainees-Mazar Central Prison overcrowded leading to many health & safety issues-.Indiscriminate access to legal aid. Addressing root causes of crime.
