      @HamedWarasta as you know, @AfghanistanIHRC does not have d authority to release prisoners. We have the mandate and authority to monitor legal proceedings and register complaints regarding the violation of legal rights of the citizens in the process, & advocate for due process.

      Thank you. Our colleagues have interviewed Mr. Ahmadi and all relevant authorities to document d case. @AfghanistanIHRC offered technical support to Mr. Ahamdi's lawyers and we have sent a formal letter to AGO asking them to support Mr. Ahmadi's request for appeal.
