Ms. @ShaharzadAkbar if female MPs including one female vice President candidate and etc aren’t good enough, who in your opinion qualifies as female political leader, civil society leader or analysts?https://twitter.com/ShaharzadAkbar/status/1113486533275811843 …

9 women out of 200 is NOT good enough. Categorizing women under a heading “women” is NOT good enough. Women too are civil society leaders, political activists, analysts and can also represent refugee Afghans. Why not 100 women? Why 9?

U should appreciate Taliban’s decision because they increased the number of female participants by 800% in comparison of last meeting. Let’s be realistic, even the Gov which is fully in favour of women didn’t give them 50% participation. What’s the % of women in current cabinet?

This is Taliban’s decision? That explains this imbalance partly. Including women is not a favor to be appreciated. It is a right & precondition. Everyone should do better on this front.

Yes Doha dialogue is fully organised by Taliban & I can confirm the list published is not final I didn’t say U should appreciate the inclusion, I said appreciate the 800% increase. U didn’t answer my question about % in cabinet. I agree with the right but not the precondition

D “800%” increase is not good enough as it does not translate 2 meaningful inclusion. Diversity f women views & groups need 2 reflected & numbers need 2 be much higher. Cabinet is not an example f good representation & we have pointed dis out regularly. Good 2 know list not final
