Let’s be reminded: 1) Taliban r 1 segment of Af society, they can not impose their views/lifestyle on all. 2) Taliban lifestyle don’t represent rural Af. I come from a village & music is an essential part of life in my community & women play instruments like mouth harp & sing.

3) This war is about regional interests & conflicts, international terrorism, drugs, power, international military presence, etc. It won’t stop by removing all Afghan women from d public space & no one should make that demand from half the population

4) Taliban or no group is in any position to claim they are more Muslim than all other Afgs. Our religion doesn’t allow anyone to do that. There are many risks to that mentality of superiority & discrimination that is discouraged in Islam.

5) An oppressive regime will not only threaten rights f women, but basic rights & dignity of all citizens. It will stifle pluralism, creativity & growth & Af will continue 2 remain poor & depedent, its talents leaving. Surely, no political force invested in Af’s future wants that
