Afghan women will not go back, but most of the cool ones will seek asylum abroad. #NoOffense #Peace

Right. Because it is young Afghan women leaving the country in big numbers to Europe since 2014.

Some of my friends have left for western countries already and the rest are planning. They should stay if change is the goal. Otherwise we lose the ‘cool’ generation of young ladies to inspire others. I’m sure many of your friends are planning the same.

I know it's not easy to stay in a country where you see no future for yourself, but the good choice is to stand shoulder to shoulder with their brothers to maintain the progress they've made. The country needs them.

And the Kabul boys won't move an inch. Women have a proven track record of resistance globally and in Afghanistan. Who was running home schools under Taliban?

This goes the same for men. La saraoyo kho pora nashwa. We do have strong and independent women and respect thier efforts. And they are staying. But people fleeing upset me, especially those who are well informed and enlightened and can contribute.

@HabibKhanT is right! They will leave! @ShaharzadAkbar How many of your sisters and friends have left and live in the west comfortably and asking for women’s rights behind their desks?

First off, 'cool' to describe a person is essentially just a marketing term now. Second, someone's decision to stay or leave is entirely up to them. Third, I been going to Greece and Turkey since 2013 every yr, it is overwhelmingly young men going. Girls that do go, go w families

Additionally, u & I have MANY well-educated, well-to-do, extremely well-connected, English-speaking, priviliged male friends in common who left (again, their choice) or have houses/their family in Turkey, Germany, Canada, US. We have no idea what life is like for a woman in AFG

My mother was one of those 'cool' women, you know why she left, her three children (inc baby ali) and her father being imprisoned and tortured by the Khalqis. These decisions are deeply personal

Indeed they are personal and that why everybody are free to go. Your mother could go, and the millions of other mothers couldn’t.
