The idea of interim government frightens those in power. For Afghans, Peace is the priority, not keeping you guys in power.

A united platform thru building a constitutional coalition could address d concerns of other constituencies. Arg had the time&chance 2 build this but they failed, stressing on Ghani-led, Ghani-owned & Ghani-controlled process. Now let’s see what

True... we still have a chance. However I seriously doubt Arg has the will and ability to provide leadership and preside over those discussions. They are mostly concerned about their own narrow interests and political survival.

We will all have 2 move beyond narrow interests & political survival if we want a lasting peace and a better Afghanistan 4 d current & future generations. I hope d conversation about the substantive aspects of an acceptable “end-state” continues 2 mature & more ideas r offered.
