Because that “Annie are you okay” Is taken directly from Smooth Criminal. So if the artist that gave you permission doesn’t have permission from MJ’s estate he’s liable to be sued and/or copyrighted along with anyone who uses his song.

It does matter and that’s exactly why u got demonetized. It doesn’t have to be his voice. If you tweet right now & say what song is this line from“Annie are you okay “from 90% of your followers will say Michael Jackson .That’s HIS intellectual property.That’s just how it works

He didn’t have to. That’s how music companies work ,if they see ANY opportunity to take/make money ,they’re gonna step. Even though u didn’t make money off that line , you still used his intellectual property. It’s not always fair and it’s not always right. That’s just how it is
