In case anyone's wondering, that's the account. (Or rather, one of them. They all have the same dumb email and message though.

So, Update on this thread: The scammer is apparently in it for the long game, and is back with more hacked accounts, trying to sell the same fucking chair. Is there some way to report hacked accounts to Amazon? All I can find is ways to report if *my* account has been hacked.

I feel somewhat sorry for the original owner of the hacked account. It appears to have been a small business that went out of business a few years ago. They're probably going to have a nasty letter in their mail soon :/

Obviously I contested the Purchase immediately, and requested a Refund from Amazon. (Could've done a Chargeback via Credit Card too, but since it was done over Marketplace, I thought I'd give them a chance to settle it themselves)

I waited until the posted date of delivery, then went to Amazon and noticed the Seller's name had changed, and that the account had been inactive for years until on the same day, a bunch of other customers posted 1 Star reviews and that they were a scam.

Their plan was apparently to delay shipment and then contact me via Email to try to get me to transfer money outside of Amazon. They probably didn't count on me totally ignoring the notification Amazon sent me about the Shipment being delayed and asking me to contact the seller.

So, someone tried to scam me on Amazon. (Or tried to, I should say.) The Scammer took over an inactive account of a defunct company that had decent ratings on Marketplace, and started offering products. Didn't have the usual warning flags, such as unrealistically low prices.

Also, fuck shit like this: How the fuck can you just _remove_ a website like this, when you've evidently done nothing to eliminate the need for support with this feature?

Context: Can't use Instant transfers to move funds from my Paypal account to my Bank account, for unknown reasons. Now, if Paypal were to provide me with an error message other than "Denied", I might be able to take action to fix the issue, but alas, nothing.

I wish there was legislation forcing companies to provide actionable error messages, especially when it comes to banking. I should not have to track down some community forum where someone suggests a dozen reasons, none of which apply to me.

For the first time in 21 years, is practically unusable. Favicons are distracting in list format and black URLs conflate with black meta descriptions—nothing draws the eye. Also, why is the URL above the page title? I can't believe this shipped to 100%.

It would seem easy to implement a warning feature to prevent this. AirPods already know if they're inserted in your ear. As is, this is very annoying.

The AirPods Pro continue to be a source of frustration. Yesterday, when I took out the right AirPod from its case, it didn't connect to my iPhone. After a bit of fiddling, I noticed that it was at 0% Battery, because it had somehow not charged while in the case.

What puzzles me most however is that it appears that those restrictions don't apply to videos that _contain children_, but videos "made for children". The former would've made at least some sense, but this is super odd.

Also, even if there's a justification for those, they should apply to *kids*, not to everyone. I don't give a fuck if I have to authenticate my age, but leave me alone with Bullshit like that. I didn't wait two decades to finally be an adult only to be treated like a child.

Some of those make sense, like restrictions on Advertising. But what the hell is the point of making the video stop when you minimize it and disabling adding it to any playlists or watch later? What the hell is the point of that? And why do those apply to me, as an adult?

So, I happened to come across a video that Youtube considers "Made for Kids" (Obviously misflagged, but that's besides the point) and looking at those restrictions, I'm dumbfounded.

There's a lot of cleverly hidden content in many old Windows betas. If you happened to be a Windows beta tester in the 90s or early 2000s and kept the media you received, it would be great if you could revisit your collection and perhaps share it with the internet if that's okay.

The main appeal of the "Sign in With Apple" thing they announced a while back is that it decouples your logins to websites from your email, and prevents this kind of utter nonsense by default. If I wasn't forced to, I'd probably not give any company my Email at all to begin with.
