Why does a "suspected brothel" require police presence at all, let alone heavily armed police? Why is it considered reasonable to send armed police to a workplace to arrest a migrant woman? This is completely disproportionate state violence and we demand to know why it happened.

Is this woman a sex worker? Why were armed police necessary in order to arrest, detain and possibly ultimately deport a migrant sex worker? Why did
@kentpolicecbury send a dozen armed police to arrest a migrant woman for "immigration offences"????Show this thread -
Please tweet directly at
@kentpolicecbury to demand why armed police are being used in immigration raids targeting sex workers!Show this thread

There some very racist Tory MPs in the Kent area, and they would have connections at the top of the Kent police force.

Kent Police - Can you imagine how potentially traumatising such an experience would be, especially if she is a survivor of violence or (if seeking asylum) possibly even conflict? Have you not been trained on this point? This is utterly reprehensible policing
