It’s a function of Govt to provide the infrastructure for private development to occur & this is done everywhere. Let’s stop holding our City back & reach for our full potential by finally utilizing our riverfront. Helped get 9 mill of State money for this game changing project.

Elected officials are drawing their district lines. Federal guidelines on redistricting are so broad all elected officials (at all levels on both sides) end up picking their voters instead of voters picking their elected officials. A major flaw leading to extreme politics.

Great to see this stop light/Pedestrian crossing being installed today on Devine St by Backstreets Grill. Happy to have worked with Councilman Brennan on getting this much need safety measure. Goes nicely with the traffic light we got installed by Cantina & Henry’s years ago.

Fun fact— my father in law is a nuclear engineer and one of the smartest people I know. He is the person that figured out what was wrong during the crisis on 3 mile island & told them what to do. Talking with him about it today after watching the Netflix film on it was awesome.

I sponsored a bill last yr to have unlawful carrying of a handgun penalties enhance for a 2nd & 3rd offense like most other SC crimes. It was supported by law enforcement. At first the said they would support if “no guns were destroyed” then the NRA still opposed & bill died

Currently there is a 35 million in this years House budget to fix the chronic train issues on Assembly Street. Trains blocking a major thoroughfare in our capital city during rush hour is not acceptable.
