However at this moment most of us are focused on more immediate concerns -- the 12-18 month covid-19 threat -- and far more serious long-term threats, namely the Climate Emergency. 2/

If a greater proportion of people relied on electronic entertainment and social contact, which would probably happen if those media increase substantially in quality from CBIs, contagious disease would be less likely to spread. It's worth considering the second order effects.
