Vaudeville and silent and B&W films didn't survive the move to color movies with sound tracks: entertainment adapted. It will continue to adapt. 1/
However at this moment most of us are focused on more immediate concerns -- the 12-18 month covid-19 threat -- and far more serious long-term threats, namely the Climate Emergency. 2/
