Today one of my fellow olds informed me that the youths these days use a period at the end of a text to denote sarcasm. That's awesome.

Yes, my daughter told me that when I add a period to the end of a text, she thinks I'm mad at her. I'm not sure I'm prepared for a world where one's punctuation communicates emotions.

oh weird I prefer the bland affectlessness of all lowercase with no punctuation for giving everything the veneer of vapid sincerity and ennui which gives an ironic ambiguity to sarcasm brb gotta go check my texts
