    1. This article, which identified 2018 as the year of the “history thread” (and in which I was honored to be included), inspired me to look back at the many threads I produced this year and create this “thread of threads.”

1/3 Today ⁦⁩ and I share the release of A BLACK WOMEN’S HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES. We did not write this book alone thanks to a group of scholars we had a manuscript workshop ⁦⁩ last year so we must begin with gratitude to our sister scholars.

I'm tired of people telling me the government is slow, bloated, inept, inefficient, indifferent -- and the private sector, the opposite.

To put this in perspective, tonight's Dem caucuses drew about 5% of Iowa's total population, which is less than 1% of the total US population.

The horse race BS is just that, BS. Who cares if it's 30 Sanders, 27 Warren, and 26 Pete or if it's 30 Pete, 27 Sanders, and 26 Warren. That's like a difference of a few hundred people. Seriously...Iowa's entire population is < 1% of the nation's.

Maybe what approximately 170,000 Iowans think about who the Democratic nominee should be is just...well...not all that important. It would be good to get results and all, but ultimately, we know it'll be close, and Sanders, Warren, and Buttigieg will be near the top.

The Eagle Scout, conservative former CEO of Exxon/Mobil who was serving as Donald Trump's Secretary of State described him as a "f*cking moron." Let's keep that in mind while assessing the significance of the Iowa cock-up.

Wait, did Pete just claim that it looks like he's winning Iowa when no results have been posted yet? That seems bad.
