These pardons are illegal. They cannot be allowed to stand. A president pardoning co-defendants and co-conspirators is effectively pardoning himself—which the United States Constitution does not allow.

I've never seen anything like this. I remember it was a big deal when Bush pardoned Scooter Libby, and Clinton pardoned his (already-time-served) brother.
