The news from Portland is terrifying. According to Oregon media and viral eyewitness videos, silent, unidentified armed men in unmarked cars are grabbing law-abiding citizens off the streets without explanation. Local authorities don't know who they are. This is how it starts.

In Proof of Corruption, I wrote about how what happened in DC is just the beginning. Barr is commanding an army, per major media, of agents from 12 federal organizations who—critically—do not wear nameplates or interact with local authorities or have any clear scope of authority.

We must understand, therefore, that Portland isn't the first deployment of Barr's Army—it's the second. That's important because this deployment is even more brazen, aggressive, and illegal. If there's no pushback, the third deployment will be even worse. This is how it starts.

I wrote also in Proof of Corruption about the operational details of the first deployment of Barr's Army—and the disinformation campaign that accompanied it. They lied about their munitions use, lied about their chain of command, lied about the scope and purpose of their mission.

In Portland the same thing is happening, per media. Reporters are either getting no answers or answers that imply a mission/authority that doesn't track with the video evidence. It seems to me that Barr's Army is—until ruled otherwise by a court—armed vigilantes acting illegally.

Most concerning is the "battlespace" (to quote Trump's Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, who gave up the game when he said Trump's administration would designate domestic spaces as theaters of operation) Barr's Army is deploying into: namely, *everywhere*. Not just federal land.

Per DOJ guidance I discuss in Proof of Corruption, federal agents are supposed to wear nameplates. You can see why: technically, unidentified armed men in unmarked cars can be arrested by Portland PD for kidnapping—at gunpoint—unless/until they ID themselves and their authority.

I worry about the logistics of an encounter of this sort—in which the Portland Police Department determines that armed vigilantes not in contact with local authorities or providing anyone with ID must be confronted. Things could quickly get tense between federal and state agents.

The evidence from DC is that Barr created a Frankenstein-like federal interagency entity under his control that operates outside legal authority and is so confusingly conceived in mission, scope, and hierarchy that its soldiers couldn't even identify themselves if they wanted to.

In Proof of Corruption I detail the first known order from Barr to a federal agency that it could—without a court's intercession—exceed its authority to interfere with protesters. Critically, the book details that before doing so Barr deliberately misidentified the threat matrix.

That is, as I detail, all the evidence the FBI provided Barr was telling him left-wing protesters were *not* a threat to persons or to federal property. He was told the threat was coming from (a) organized groups of criminals with no political agenda and (b) far-right extremists.

Despite this FBI data, Trump and Barr have persisted in spreading the lie that they have evidence left-wing protesters include "terrorists" who are violent and dangerous, even as they won't share any such evidence with anyone. All this *preceded* what's happening in Portland now.

So now we have unidentified, armed, authority-less federal vigilantes under Barr's control acting without hindrance in a U.S. city, seemingly tied to DHS—meaning they intend to defend themselves in court if they must on the grounds that they are engaged in *counterterrorism* ops.

This is why Proof of Corruption focuses on Trump and Barr's false claim they're tracking down terrorists. This is an attempt to evade state courts—putting power in the hands of secret courts, military courts, and an increasingly Trump-picked federal judiciary. This is dangerous.

Those who read Proof of Conspiracy—my 2019 book—have been writing me asking how Erik Prince, one of the key villains of that book, ties into what is happening now. I do have some things that I need to say about that as well, and they're scarier than anything else in this thread.

Per the major-media sources I cited in Proof of Conspiracy, Erik Prince, an arms dealer and war criminal as well as a top Trump donor and advsier, has made it his mission to privatize government military operations around the world so he can personally profit from war and strife.

Prince has pitched Trump on a plan to privatize the war in Afghanistan. I've a lot to say on this that I'll say elsewhere, as Prince has substantial Russian ties—and Putin's assassination plot was partly intended to convince Trump to withdraw government troops from Afghanistan.

But the second terrifying Erik Prince plan pitched to Trump (that was also reported on by major media) was for a *domestic* entity—a "spy army" that would operate in the U.S. as a paramilitary force and be under the exclusive control of Trump and former CIA chief Mike Pompeo.

The third and final Prince plan pitched to the president would have seen Prince use his shady international network of former military operators to infiltrate and weaken left-wing protest groups within the United States. Put these three pitches together and you have Barr's Army.

I've no idea if Erik Prince is directly involved in what Trump and Barr have created here, if he's a consultant to the creation of an interagency black ops force within the U.S., or if what is happening now was merely inspired by the pitches he gave to the president and his team.

What I do know is that Prince is linked to all of the foreign governments that sought to collude with Trump in the 2016 election and will attempt to tamper with the 2020 election—as well as at least one country that minimally tampered in 2016 but will do much more in 2020: China.

So after the pandemic, the biggest story in America right now is the illegal operation of black-ops federal forces within the United States within 120 days of a federal election. What is happening right now is unimaginably dangerous and should be terrifying to all Americans. /end

PS/ I'm happy to say that "Erik Prince" is now trending on Twitter. If this thread played a role in that, I'm glad. Trump, Barr, and Prince are three of the most dangerous men in the world right now.
