PS/ I personally don't think there's any chance Trump quits the race. But you'd be amazed at how many smart people I speak to regularly who believe that that is at least a *distant* possibility. I disagree with them, but the fact that they say it still strikes me as astonishing.
The @GOP is over whether Trump is their nominee or not. And Trump is only running to keep himself out of prison. He won’t step aside for anyone else.
Especially if he thinks Daddy Vladdy will help him win. i mean, he's giving DV a pass on the soldier bounty thingie, so why wouldn't DV help his favorite little precious?

Make them choke on his candidacy.
He will never concede. If he loses he will blame everyone and anyone. It's not in his nature to accept responsibility for his actions or inactions.
He can easily blame the Republican Party for not backing up and putting him in a lose-lose situation. Forcing him to “resign” instead of getting embarrassed in November as he’s projected to be right now. But I urge on the side of caution with all this. He can still win.
