PS/ It's not enough to call this a "sham trial" or a "hoax" or a "scam" or to say "the fix is in." Jurors secretly coordinating with a defendant to have him issue a threat that jurors then happily allow themselves to be "intimidated" into a dismissal by is a conspiracy. A *plot*.

PS2/ Evidence of "corrupt intent" is everywhere. Trump's lawyers are in court arguing the opposite of what they're saying in the Senate. The GOP is making one argument against the House, and then acting in exactly the way they've attacked the House for. It's absolutely sickening.

PS3/ If you read this with the assumption Trump will lose in November in a fair election, you'll have a limited reaction—let's just wait until November, you might say, *then* he'll see! But what if Trump *wins* in November in an election rigged by his tactics and foreign nations?

PS4/ What I'm asking—and I don't know the answer to this—is the following: right now I *do*, grudgingly, accept the fact that Trump is president. I don't know that I can accept this government as legitimate past November based on what's happening now. And I'm a *rule-of-law* guy.

PS5/ So what does that mean? Well, I don't know that a second Trump administration would have legal authority *if* the GOP conspired with him to permit (even *encourage*) him to work with hostile foreign actors to rig the election. I don't think...we're a *country* at that point.

PS6/ What I'm saying is that if the GOP dismisses this case and greenlights a foreign-run election in 2020, Americans have no option but to peacefully/lawfully occupy the capital until such time as new, verifiable elections for all of Congress are declared. As they do in Europe.

PS7/ And what I fear will happen is, out of self-interest the DNC and Democratic candidates will say "No, wait for the election!" But then *when* (not if) the election is found to have had all the election interference the GOP conspired to generate, it's too late... far too late.

PS8/ Until U.S. rule of law fully collapses, I'll never back any action that isn't lawful—minor civil disobedience as part of peaceful protest excepted. But I think folks better start considering what lawfully and peacefully shutting down the country for a spell would look like.

PS9/ If not only *can't* Trump be held accountable for the worst conduct in office—that one was caught for—of any president, but we can't even have a *trial with evidence* regarding the conduct, I'm sorry but Trump is a king. America would be effectively a monarchy at that point.

PS10/ If this is *dismissed*, Trump is unleashed. He knows that—until November—he can do *anything*. I repeat: *anything*. Because if not only doesn't he get impeached for this, but he doesn't even get put on *trial* (for real) for this, what can't he do? Who'd stop him? No one.
