Whatever happens now, it began on a yacht in the Red Sea in fall '15. A multinational coalition of nations committed itself to Trump's election specifically because the gathered leaders knew Trump could be manipulated into a war with Iran at the right time. REPORTING confirms it.
For years, people who hadn't done the research on the complex course of development of Trump's Iran policy and his internatonal collusion with foreign actors told us Trump was a dove on Iran when international reporting confirmed he was *not*. Now here we are, and it's sickening.
I feel stuck, because I wrote the book that explains in more detail by far than any other document precisely how Trump developed his Iran policy (a story very few are aware of) but in the midst of hostilities am uncomfortable pointing people to my work as much as I likely should.
I'm still working out how to handle this, so for now all I'll say is 1) I always hope for the safety of our soldiers and for peace, 2) If you don't believe there's research out there with thousands of sources confirming Trump was always going to go to war with Iran, you're wrong.
