I decided not to live-tweet Trump's Helsinki treachery. He embarrassed, lied about and attacked the US in all the ways—and gave US enemy Putin the PR victory—we expected. His closed-door 90-minute meeting of *course* went long—130+ minutes. It was all the evil we feared and more.

Tuning in from the UK, I can tell you that this corner of the world is neither laughing or crying. It's sitting here with its mouth hanging open, too stupefied to know how to respond. It's pinching itself, wondering when it might wake up. Did that just happen?

I saw Paul Simon play his last ever UK gig last night. On Trump, he uttered two short sentences and got a standing ovation: "Strange times, huh? Don't give up." Strange times indeed. I've no idea how you good people have managed to restrain yourselves from taking up arms.

Every American should be worried. We just saw and heard The POTUS sell out his country and it’s people! This is alarming! It is unseen and unheard off and it is up to Congress and the people! Violence is not the solution/

On the plus side: watching Fox & they're stunned too. One guy says he doesn't understand why the markets haven't reacted to this. Neil Cavuto responds, "You have to give them a little time. They just fainted 10 minutes ago."

Putin lied when he said he didn't know Trump was even in Russia. Trump had hoped to meet Putin - he says he was told he'd be at the Miss Universe. Putin did not show up but had oligarch there & sent Trump a gift. Just a press conference of lies, always.

Absolutely!!! Who would believe he didn't know that the Miss Universe contest was going on and that Trump was there. If his base believes this crap they don't deserve to be in this country!

There is a written record of Trump inviting Putin to the Miss Universe pageant and he was under the impression he was going to attend. Trump got a note written by Putin and a gift. This is all historical stuff. Putin knows who is in his country & who isn't even without an invite.

I think we already got a good start last week, in that farce of a hearing re Peter Strzok. He was brilliant, turned GOP’s bullying right around on them. Some major players were exposed as the traitors they are.
