When my great-grandfather fought in the Jordan Valley in 1918, it was at times well over 100 degrees w/suffocating humidity, drinking water contaminated by dead bodies, plus malarial mosquitoes. I try to think about this when I complain about walking from the metro to my office.

Yep, that I where I did basic and advanced training for my IDF infantry brigade, Kfir. It's the hottest damn place on earth tbh, when we did training in summer, we would go to sleep at like 6pm every night because by like 6am it was always 95 degrees and too hot to train

My buddy lives over on Tirat Tzvi which has the distinction of being the place that recorded the hottest ever temperature in Asia, 129 farenheit, 53.9 Celsius, man is that hot
