There's no way to know, of course, just curious about what ppl think would happen. Personally, I think the nomination is withdrawn. But am interested to hear your thoughts.

Thought experiment: Dr. Ford is the only accuser--no Avenatti circus. Her testimony is heartrending and moving. But Kavanaugh isn't emotional in his, because he hasn't been accused of running a rape gang. What happens?

If Feinistein doesn't hold on to this he's probably out in August just for safety.....I would guess that, but not sure about this scenario....still no evidence

Timing is important here. If Ford's accusation came out shortly after the nomination instead of being sat on by Feinstein until the last minute, then its possible him name would have been withdrawn OR the investigation pushes the process past November.

If the only thing that changes are the additional accusations and the subsequent testimony, it's still possible he would be confirmed due to the questions on the handling of Ford's allegations. If he would have lost, it would have been a narrow vote.

They would have said he was too calm, no normal man wouldn't be moved by such accusations. And called him a sociopath. And I imagined they war-gamed both responses out before he testified.
