“Yet almost from birth Soviet Union has sought to destroy UN, to hamper its deliberations, to block its decisions … to demean the reputation of the Security Council and the General Assembly”. I sign under each of these words in 2022, the words of King Hussein of Jordan in 1960

61 y.o. on September 18, 1961 UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjöld & 15 others killed when their plane crashed in what is now Ndola, Zambia. USSR, & its leader Khrushchev openly demanded resignation of Hammarskjöld. His active position on key issues was unacceptable to Moscow

I’ve been wondering if in russia sandwiches are something one gives & takes back & forth? Is it a cultural thing or just dodgy example used by Navalny to support his essentially colonial statement- «No, Russia can't be understood With mind or held to common standard» (Tyutchev)
Quote Tweet
With all my due respect Navalny is a petit imperialist, no doubts - Venediktov asked him in 2014 «If you were to become president, would you try to return Crimea to Ukraine?” Navalny replied: “Is the Crimea a sandwich or something you can take and give it back? I don’t think so » twitter.com/MuKappa/status…

As far as I am concerned it is wonderful that the russian army is so corrupt. navalny's team does not share my views. I also cannot recall them mentioning the genocide of Ukrainians being perpetrated by russia. I could be wrong. Do let me know.

Isn’t it a situation that was imminent for 6+ months but circled back? Perhaps there are better contingency plans to unroll now, as in better than bypass ICAO?

Being unable to mobilize russians as cannon fodder Ru state TV's moronic Solovyov pulls his hair out - russia should form a coalition of Venezuela, Iran, N.Korea, Cuba & Nicaragua, engage Serbs to fight for russia. Keep pulling your hair out! Not every russian can do even this.

UN business relations w/aggressor state are questionable on many accounts, with all my due respect. If there’ll be no healthy rejection of bloodstained leasing of russian aircraft from inside the system, it’s even more critical to see if security requirements of ICAO r respected

Are russians compulsive or pathological liars: former lie for nor reason, latter are goal-oriented: “I’d like to ask to either provide evidence or acknowledge disseminating unreliable information," said nebenzia denying acquisition of drones from Iran

Does it fall under definition to BS as in hablar paja in Spanish? As it’s already become clear that just to lie is simply useless to promote russian narrative…

Tucker Carlson's top Russia-Ukraine war expert Douglas MacGregor, on Friday night: "This entire war may be over" soon, "right now things are going very, very badly" for the Ukrainians and they're "desperate," "they're losing once again just south of Kharkiv."

As one of the greatest Germans told his compatriots, “Hell begins the day that God grants you the vision to see all that you could have done, should have done, and would have done, but did not do.” (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)

Disappointing signals from Germany while Ukraine needs Leopards and Marders now — to liberate people and save them from genocide. Not a single rational argument on why these weapons can not be supplied, only abstract fears and excuses. What is Berlin afraid of that Kyiv is not?

Shnurov is one of the lowest of the low scums of the russian trash culture. It’s amazing how brain dead are members of the public who dance to the lyrics of the fellow russians incinerated in Moscow burned down in fire along with them. What a sick society! Incurable mob!
Quote Tweet
Shnurov performed yesterday in Moscow 2012 song "Whom do the bells ring for”. According to original lyrics a hero dreams about Moscow on fire: “Yesterday I’d a beautiful dream-Moscow burned down completely. Fire on Red square.” Leaders of “opposition” as firewood though. Mental!

What in the world he thinks he might be?! His role’s increasingly marginalized & redundant - not representing armed forces, at odds with intelligence & secret services, bio hazard outside Pyongyang lavrov can’t be a negotiator neither now nor in the future

Sergei Lavrov says Russia is open to negotiations with Ukraine but delays will complicate an agreement Pinning the blame for a lack of diplomacy on Ukraine is a standard Russian rhetorical gesture, and Russia's stance on diplomacy has not changed yet after the loss of Kharkiv

Ferris wheel symbolizes the wheel of change & the idea you can’t get off. It’s traced to Middle Ages. One, as in Putin, is taken round until the ride ends [he dies] & is disgorged back into the spirit world, as in hell. Per russian obsession w/symbolism. Well done! Great timing!
