Yes, the dependent crates are the same as those used by Gate, I didn't add any more dependencies. You can see the Cargo file here: https://github.com/SergiusIW/gate/blob/master/gate/Cargo.toml …. The WASM build is extremely lightweight.

are you doing any sort of live reloading magic? for me with rust gamedev, compile times were the thing that ended up being tough!

No, I'm not using live-reload. I'm not using a web-browser when developing locally; I'm running locally on SDL2 instead. Compile times have not been much of an issue for me. A typical cargo check is under half a second, and cargo build after minor changes is under 2 seconds.
