Honestly mate there's probably a stack overflow question to explain this tweet to you, but here goes: It's a truism. How else can you demonstrate knowledge without externalising it? You write tests? That other people can audit? You're communicating.
I am seeing all the time how people can't understand let's say rails conventions and prefer to ignore them to build their own ugly constructs in place of clean convention over configuration. So it's not about me not being supportive, it's about explaining being quite hard mostly.
