So @youtube is fine with harmful abusive content that instills hate and violence, but the second queer educators find a way to get paid for their work through sponsors we are threatened with channel strikes? Cool cool. Would love an actual explanation here @TeamYouTube

To add something on top of it last night
@TeamYouTube was answering other question tweet yet completely ignored Alana's multitude of tweet questioning what was happening. They've done this to other queer creators in the past too. Yet people wonder why the lawsuit This is why!1 reply 0 retweets 5 likes -
They have not responded to our help requests for about a year or so. I used to ask nicely, I got ignored, it got worse. I truly love the platform, but to ignore creators just trying to create and continue to harm their content. I'm not surprised.

The most ridiculous thing about all this is if they would just be open and honest like they say they are yes it would still sick but at least people would be understanding of what's going on. Instead they have closed communication and are in denial of any problem

The only reason I've gotten so cynical is this very issue. A platform lying, gaslighting and taking advantage of creators does not build trust.

Exactly I wish there was another good platform for creators but unfortunately there's not. There is a few places but they do not have the capacity for the amount of creators that need it. They also don't provide monetary means
