Today we remember the death of Gavrilo Princip, a liberator and a hero. He gave his life fighting against oppression, imperialism and tyranny. His sacrifice embodies freedom and dignity which will be remembered for generations to come.pic.twitter.com/upR9n0LEg0

Show this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo -

Show this threadThanks. Being too young to remember does not erase the fact that it happened. That divine decisions could decide life and death. It cannot erase the fact that when the sirens roared, people went to their basements in the dark, with their children, families and friends. To hide.

Question today remains, 20 years later: Why? Nobody seems to have answered, nobody seems to have taken the blame, nobody faced justice. But what is justice? Is it what the strong do to the weak? Or is it what the weak suffer because they must?pic.twitter.com/7T0NSE9ZZo

16 people died in that unjust attack. First time in history a TV station was a legitimate war target. First time in history young people, mostly technicians, lost their lives after being labelled a "tool of the propaganda machine". They did not want to die that night.pic.twitter.com/kAeoyc13uU

#NATO forces bombed Radio Television of#Serbia. My mother could have died that night. She did not because she was lucky enough to be on maternity leave, taking care of me, a 2 year old. She returned to work after the building was destroyed. Some never did.pic.twitter.com/hf5nqJMWGp

20 years ago tonight, the US murdered 16 media workers in Serbia in the bombing of RTS. No one has ever been held accountable from the US. This was a clear war crime.pic.twitter.com/6UmiPLcomf

Jedno veče me je pozvao
Vesna je redovni profesor!https://twitter.com/serdjosega/status/1099402863393099776 …Show this threadThanks. Senat Univerziteta u Beogradu danas u 13h sati glasa o reizboru Vesne Todorčević u zvanje redovnog profesora.

Former president Tadic gets booed. He is to blame for many of today's problems. He is to blame for creating Vucic and his party. His pals used power to steal money from the country and get rich themselves. He is political history and has no place in Serbia's future.pic.twitter.com/ZPIvjpLzXV

The protest ended with a walk around the city. The message was that of unity and the need to marginalise voices that have been dividing the country for 30 years. “
#Serbia as one”.pic.twitter.com/InOCwiRwPh
