My problem isn't necessarily with the use of hardware-based over hardware ray tracing or hardware accelerated ray tracing or any of that. If I used that criteria, I would be like "okay, sony has it." My issue is I observe a CLEAR reluctance to commit too strongly on hardware RT.
It's like this... Sony has AMD Raytracing in hardware inside of the GPU as "standard". It will do the job, but it's not as good as what Xbox has. Xbox has "dedicated raytracing cores" that is hardware also, but higher quality hardware as it's "dedicated".
