Climate change is the greatest threat we face. It's the moral test of our age, and we'll be judged by future generations on how we respond. We can't afford to sit back and do nothing—as @SenWhitehouse says, it's #TimeToWakeUp. It's been 6 years since I first took to the Senate floor to urge my colleagues in Congress to wake up to the threats of climate change -- tonight, I'll deliver my 200th #TimeToWakeUp speech, along with 20 @SenateDems. One of the greatest injustices of this administration is that the daily drama of Donald Trump has distracted from this, probably the most important issue of our time. Thanks for putting it back front and center.

It won't be governing FLorida, Louisiana, many of the SE states, OR both coastlines - most of that will be underwater in a century. Except more like 20 years. Don't forget, all scientists are hyper-conservative with their findings, and their predictions have been UNDERestimates.

Those are just your thoughts and I don't believe anything about climate change. It's all political and they want to control everything in the country. Someday they will charge us for every breath we take.

The Laws of Nature control the planet, as you say. The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics explains why the Arctic is warming much faster than the rest of the planet. If you continue to deny reality, you'll become paranoid. You're wrong. Read the scientific literature!

.@AP Few ppl can read the science themselves (as I can, and maybe you too). So they only hear the news through filters that have an agenda. But i must ask - Wayne, don't u believe in cause-effect? If there's a fire, do you dump gas on it? That is what humans r doing - get it?

Omg I love Tom Udall.... and of course who doesn’t love Sheldon Whitehouse, and as my lovefest ends for two of my favorites …climate sets in with an untimely nor’easter. I’ve always wished for most a better understanding of the earth we take advantage of as a disposable. Peace
