The State Operations Centre has had a significant shift in focus today from fires to floods. The will be utilising our Centre over coming days to manage incidents due to the current weather event. We continue to manage more than 40 fires burning across .

Australia: Labor continues its duplicitous narrative that we can still dig up coal and frack gas as part of a plan to reduce emissions. It’s fooling no one.

People are anxious and angry. We’re facing a climate emergency, a jobs crisis & inequality crisis, and it’s starting to break people, but the gov has no plan. A Green New Deal provides hope & a pathway out.

"Great campaign"? It's one of the chief propagators of climate denialism pretending to give a shit about the disastrous, deadly consequences of its sabotaging of sensible policy.

Yet another rorts scandal, which has the PM’s fingerprints all over it. When will it stop? When we have a federal corruption watchdog which applies to MPs! I’m moving on Monday to compel the Govt to vote on my Senate-passed Greens ICAC bill in the House.

Good to see wombats are now protected in Victoria after I raised the barbaric shooting of them from Crown Casino’s cashed-up high rollers in the parliament last year.

Cory Bernardi has already signed up as a "Sky News Contributor". This is now almost 100 current and former politicians who have been paid off by the Murdoch interests after leaving office. They are right wing political players, not professional balanced media operators.

Great to see the proposal for fossil fuel production levy to pay for climate disasters in 's platform as new leader of Greens. Only fair for those that profit from supplying the climate crisis, cover impacts.

Too many Australian politicians are unfit for public office. Even as the country burns from Anthropogenic heating, they support more and more fossil fuels. They ARE climate criminals.
